Abaana Ba Kristo Foundation has established a transitional shelter in Namasenene, Masaka City, in response to the increasing number of street-connected children in the city.

The shelter provides a safe, supportive, and child-friendly environment where children can access essential care and begin their journey toward recovery, education, child case management, and family reintegration.

We aim to help street-connected children move from vulnerability to protection, restore hope, and rebuild their lives while strengthening families and communities to create lasting and sustainable solutions.

Who We are?

Abaana Ba Kristo Foundation is a children’s ministry registered as a Civil Society Organization (CSO) and Community-Based Organization (CBO). Established in November 2020, it is a non-profit organization operating in Rwamabare, Kigarama Ward, Bisheshe Division, Ibanda District, Western Uganda, and Namasenene, Masaka City.

What we do

Our ministry is committed to raising children who live with purpose and impact their world for God’s glory. We do this through programs that nurture, equip and inspire both children and families

1. Children holiday conference/ camp

Creating safe, fun, and impactful space during school breaks (three every year) where children encounter God, build relationship and discover their gifts.

2. Special needs care program

Every child is a gift from God, uniquely created with purpose and potential. Offering tailored support to children with unique needs, ensuring that every child experiences God’s love and care. Primarily we focus on walking alongside parents and caregivers with encouragement, education, and support network.

3. Children Radio program

Broadcasting hope and truth to children and families, reaching hearts beyond physical boundaries with engaging faith-filled content. Help us reach young hearts beyond walls

4. Parenting workshops

Parenting is one of the greatest blessings but also one of the biggest challenges every parent and guardian face. Every child is unique and there is no one “manual” that works for all. Equipping parents and guardians with biblical knowledge and wisdom and practical tools to raise children who thrive spiritually, emotionally and socially and impact generation.
